Since its inception, ISACA has developed a comprehensive accreditation program for professionals in various fields, as well as related certification examinations and training. Thus, the following qualification pathways are available to candidates:

  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) is one of ISACA's best-known certifications which is considered to be a foundation for building a successful career in IT. IT is intended for entry-level and mid-career professionals and verifies your skills to implement a risk-based approach in planning, carrying out and reporting on audit tasks.
  • CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) is designed for mid-level information technology professionals who certify their risk management skills including identification, analysis, evaluation, and timely response. For employees, this certification will certify that the employee has the relevant skills to deal with various threats to the protection of company systems.
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) is one of ISACA's core certification paths focused on quality information security management. Thus, this qualification will serve as official proof of your advanced skills in the development of an effective information security program, risk management, as well as monitoring and proper response to various information security incidents. This designation is designed for those professionals who plan to be promoted from team member to manager. However, in addition to successfully passing the relevant accreditation exam, you must have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in information security management. Alternatively, you can have 3 years of experience and an active CISA certification.
  • CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT) is designed for candidates who have working experience in a managerial position, as well as knowledge and expertise in the application of IT management regulations, principles, and best practices. This certification verifies your skills to be engaged in running the entire organization and serves as a mark to get an executive position.
  • CSX-P (CSX Cybersecurity Practitioner) is designed for cybersecurity technicians with strong risk management skills. And with this qualification, they can increase their expertise in core security functions - detection, identification, response, protection, and recovery. For employers, CSX-P certified individuals can work in a virtual environment and provide a sufficient level of cybersecurity.
  • CDPSE (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer) is available for IT professionals willing to certify advanced tech skills and knowledge to implement comprehensive privacy solutions. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience related to the data lifecycle and privacy architecture and management.
  • ITCA (Information Technology Certified Associate) is designed for novice IT specialists and even students who do not have relevant practical experience. The ISACA accreditation program is not limited to these options, as you may also be interested in other certification paths such as Cobit, CSX, Cybersecurity Audit, CCAK, or IT Risk Fundamentals.

Meanwhile, if you are just at the beginning of your career, you can choose to take ISACA's entry-level certifications in business administration, information systems, accounting, engineering, cybersecurity, or computer science.

Success is guaranteed as ISACA offers many learning tools in addition to certificates and exams.
